The Philippines has been so blessed with different KPOP events this 2017 from workshops, to fan meetings to concerts. KPOP has truly expanded their influence here in the Philippines. Before the year ends and 2018 enters, let’s reminisce these special moments that happened this 2017.
We have listed 24 K-pop events mostly held in Manila which includes nine concerts, eight fan meetings, and four events or performances, and three workshops.

26 – 27 February: The EXO’rDIUM in Manila [CON]
02 March: 2017 Global Peace Concert One K in Manila [CON]
A special concert, which is one of the highlight events of the Global Peace Convention, was held at the MOA Arena. This concert was part of the One K Global Campaign for the unification of Korea.
28 – 30 April: [SBT SUMMER KAMP] Special Dance Workshop with Habin [WORKSHOP]
06 – 07 May: BTS Wings Tour in Manila [CON]
BTS Wings Tour in Manila was a blast. It was a 2-day sold out concert. Fans were truly excited to see BTS perform again at the stage of MOA Arena.

24 November: HALO’s Mini Fan Meet in Manila [FMT]
HALO warmly greeted their fans in the country with games, album signing, and high touch. The members even graciously took selfies with their fans! HALO also had TV guestings at It’s Showtime and WoWoWin during their visit in Manila. They are also set to release their 3rd Japanese single “Liar” in January 2018!
30 November: 2017 Kim Jae Joong Asia Tour Fanmeeting in Manila [FMT]
Cassiopeias are very much excited to see one of their favorite artists, Kim Jaejoong. It has been almost 11 years since he last visited the Philippines. This event has truly shown how excited the Titas and Titos of KPOP are.
01 December: Penshoppe presents Dara [FMT]
09 December: 2017 CNBLUE live [BETWEEN US] in Manila [CON]
17 December: KPOP Convention 9
KPOP Convention is the biggest annual KPOP event hosted by the Philippine KPOP Convention Inc. (PKCI) for the KPOP fans and fanclubs wherein different booths are there and different activities can also be seen. This year is their 9th year of having this kind of event. Special guests like Jessica Lee from Idol School, Kim Jaegul, and Dasuri Choi were at the event.
2017 really proved how South Korea has influenced and expanded its music and culture in the Philippines. Good thing, the fans are always prepared for the events and always ready to support their favorite artists. A big thanks also to the different organizations and fanclubs in the Philippines who keeps on promoting the events.
